As I wonder alone through his holy home

Gods loving grace shines to me in this hallowed place
For in his home I know I’m never alone
I look to god for peace of mind
To help me through these troubled times
For it is he who shelters me through this awful storm

There is an empty void filled with you loving embrace
Oh lord help guide your children to your home
and lord let them worship you in your name
For it was your only son you sent for they
Jesus is the only way to your hallowed place
There is no need to fear
The kingdom of heaven is near
Turn away from sin

Looks like nothing more to share today
We can reimagine things a new way
Let’s start again, paint a new day
Fix our flaws, the mistakes we’ve made
Paint away our darkness, take back today
As we repaint our portrait this time
We won’t make the same mistake twice

and as our new portrait is remade

Telling a tale of misfortune to his kin and his friends
Hoping not to make the same mistakes again
Woe to the mountain pass

There lives an old man that regrets everything
His past for he cannot change
But tomorrow won’t be the same
